Walk/Bike Crusade Against HIV/AIDS

Did you know African American women represent the highest number of newly reported HIV/AIDS cases in America?  HIV/AIDS continues to be a threat in our community and while new drugs are helping people live longer, the reality remains, there is still no cure for AIDS and HIV infection rates continue to rise.

NABFEME created the 5k Bike/Walk/Run Crusade Against AIDS to raise money to advance HIV/AIDS awareness and services. Our partners include Bebashi Transition to Hope, which supplies much needed resources from counseling to education, to prevention and more; the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, Performance Bicycle and the City of Philadelphia.  Join us September 22nd at MLK Drive in Philadelphia at 8am. The Crusade begins at 9am.

How can you help?? By registering to participate, by making a donation, or both. Any amount will help and it’s tax deductible! We have lost many incredible people to this disease, let’s act now before we lose another person that we love. #BlackLivesMatter
