Meet Davida Lovelace of Philadelphia.
Tell us about your blog? What do you primarily blog about?
Fashion, travel and lifestyle
What has been the most memorable blogging experience of your career so far?
Honestly just being recognized for doing/creating something from absolutely nothing. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought posting pictures of my outfits and sharing where I got my items from would get me where I am today.
What do you think is the key to being a successful influencer?
Patience, Persistence and most importantly being yourself.
When you are not live tweeting or posting to Instagram or Facebook, what apps do you use to schedule your posts?
I honestly don't use any apps to schedule my posts. Sticking to a formula of the "perfect time" doesn't always work but I do have certain times of day that I post and do not post.
If there is one thing you learned from being a blogger/influencer, it is...
Know your own worth. There are many of people/companies that will want you to do things for free and that is not fair to you or your brand. You have to stand up for yourself/brand while being respectful and not coming off like a diva.
Speaking of influencers, who has been the most influential person in your life?
I have to say my parents. They have made me the person I am today. They always made me believe that anything was possible and always encouraged me to follow my dreams.
What shows are you watching on TV/Netflix/Hulu now?
Just finished "Black Mirror" Now watching the second season of "The Ozarks"
Who is your favorite musical artist/group?
Coffee or Tea?
Apple or Android?
Which NABFEME Summit event are you most excited to experience and why?
The Digital Culture: Technology & The Business of Social Media. I love social media (obviously) and it's ever changing. You can never get complacent because there is always more to learn. Social media has such a huge impact on our daily lives and on many of our business practices. Most of my collaborations or big projects all came from social media.
Tell us your favorite place to eat, shop, and play (or thing to do)
I love boutique shopping! My go-to boutiques are Temptations and Luluish on South Street, DFTI on Chestnut, Smak Parlour in Old City or a new favorite Kin Boutique on 10th and Race
