Philadelphia City Councilman Kenyatta Johnson Supports NABFEME Crusade Against HIV/AIDS
The September 22nd NABFEME Bike/Walk Crusade against HIV/AIDS has gained an avid supporter: Philadelphia’s District 2 Councilman Kenyatta Johnson!
A man with a mission to serve, Councilman Johnson recognizes the plight of HIV/AIDS in the African American community and how it is affecting our women and seniors. Councilman Johnson’s office will support the Crusade by sponsoring 10 crusade participants.
The youngest member of Philadelphia’s City Council, Kenyatta Johnson continues to make a difference in the city whether its saving an elementary school from closure, securing funding to restore the city’s only abuse shelter, taking a stand against violent crime, to sponsoring legislation that makes affordable housing accessible to all. Councilman Johnson is committed to improving education, affordable housing, business development, public safety, job training and access to employment for all of his constituents in the 2nd District. NABFEME salutes Councilman Kenyatta Johnson.
