Greetings from the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection! We are looking forward to you joining us in Philadelphia for the upcoming NABFEME International Women’s Leadership Summit… “The MisEducation of Women in Entertainment.”
With the affection, love, and grit of Philadelphia as our backdrop, this summit will speak to the challenges, celebrate the excellence and highlight our successes as women.
Women are doers. When I think of an example of a woman who gets the job done while making time to pull up and train other women NABFEMEfounder and President Johnnie Walker comes to mind. Directly or indirectly, Ms. Walker has shown women in music and entertainment the roadmap of a doer. As one that gets the job done, makes no excuses and acknowledges the results with a smile, Ms. Walker believes in transitioning women from goal-getter to boss ladies. Her organization NABFEME, is designed to take the women of Philly and beyond to the next level.
I'm humbled and honored to be the Ambassador of the NABFEME Summit, and I’m excited to empower other women through its theme, The MisEducation of Women in Entertainment. Do you want to join the women breaking the glass ceiling in music and entertainment? Continue to explore the website and learn about the power women who will join us this Fall in Philadelphia. The movement continues September 27th - September 30th.
I’m looking forward to meeting and greeting you all.
